STRONG PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSIVE STRESSES
Floors and process plants are exposed to a wide range of corrosive stresses. In particular, these are chemical effects - such as those caused by acids, alkalis, salt solutions, organic solvents, various chemicals or water vapor, whose corrosive potential is often exacerbated by elevated temperatures and temperature changes. Floor coatings and acid-resistant tiles that protect the concrete substrate against corrosive attack and prevent chemicals and harmful substances penetrating the ground thus helping maintain the value of the plants. Tried-and-tested solutions for expansion joints, channel joints and features as well as sealing details of foundation plinths and factory structures complete our floor systems portfolio.
Temperature fluctuations, moisture, chemical attack, the movement of heavy loads, scratches during production or maintenance work – the industrial floors from Steuler can reliably take the punishment. Special surface properties, such as surface planarity and anti-slip properties improve operational processes and increase work safety. ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE FLOOR COATING
Electrically conductive floor coatings reliably protect sensitive plant components from electrostatic discharge. A static charge is prevented even before it occurs. The electrically conductivity of the functional coating can be achieved by a wide variety of processes. Which system is used depends on the individual coating requirements. From clean rooms and the chemical industry to plant components subject to some requirements, our product range can meet all requirements.
ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGED PROTECTION COATING
Damage caused by ESD is certainly expensive and must be avoided throughout the process chain when using correspondingly sensitive components. ESD must be prevented. A very important point here is the floor. This must effectively prevent the occurrence of damaging voltages. Here, special Steuler floor coating systems offer optimal, long-lasting protection. We produce the specific materials in the selected color shade (special colors are possible) and our trained staff performs the application professionally. You will receive a complete documentation of the ESD properties of your floor coating with the construction acceptance, also by an independent expert institute on request.
